Microalgae Strains
Application Areas
Patent-Pending Technology
A containerized, solar-powered PRAVAH unit built for extreme conditions and remote locations โ turning CO2 and waste into nutrition, while recycling water for self-reliant outposts.
Solar-powered operation with low maintenance in the field
On-site Spirulina and Astaxanthin production for personnel
Captures CO2 from flue gas or cylinders as feedstock
Treats and recycles nutrient-rich wastewater on site
A standalone PRAVAH microalgae bioreactor designed for indoor spaces, using live algae cultures to absorb CO2 and improve indoor air quality while producing usable biomass.
Living algae columns actively filter indoor air
Built-in touch panel tracks system performance
Compact footprint suited for offices and public spaces
Harvested algae can be repurposed for other uses
The core PRAVAH cultivation module โ a stacked, vertically arrayed photobioreactor housed in a standard container, customizable for the microalgae strain and end application a customer needs.
Configurable for Spirulina, Chlorella, Haematococcus & more
Stackable trays scale cultivation capacity as needed
Integrated control panel for hands-off operation
Suited for research labs and commercial-scale production
A fully self-sufficient PRAVAH deployment, powered entirely by rooftop solar panels โ designed to run off-grid while continuously cultivating microalgae.
Rooftop solar panels supply all operating power
Standard shipping-container footprint for easy transport
Zero grid dependency, low environmental footprint
Multiple units can be linked for larger operations
Xelai Algaetech was built on Doljit's Ph.D. research at the Department of Energy, Tezpur University, focused on reducing the cost of algal biofuel through innovations in algal culture systems and automation. That work produced the patent-pending Stacked Tray Modular Photobioreactor technology at the heart of PRAVAH.
He also served as a Senior Research Fellow on a DBT-sponsored Indo-Brazil collaborative project on integrated bio-refinery approaches to algal biofuels and chemicals, spending six months at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as part of that work.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a master's degree in Energy Technology.
Pompi supports Xelai across promotional activities, communication, documentation, and official and administrative matters โ helping coordinate company activities and representing the organization in outreach and promotional engagements.
Her background spans education, computer applications, office automation, and financial accounting, giving her a broad footing across the day-to-day operations that keep the company running.
